What is the age of the
oldest person in the world? Do you know a person who is now living in his or
her hundred years? Well, all of us wanted to live longer in this world. All of
us wanted to see our sons, grandsons, great grandsons and so on. But as we
trudge our journey towards old age, we are troubled of how we could live our
life happy and longer. So, the following are the tips which you could do in
attaining a cheerful life towards a long life:
1. Start
life with vigor and energy. Have enough sleep and exercise. Don’t just sleep in a whole day.
Do something that will exercise all your muscles and will enhance your
strength. Find ways to do something that would not allow you to die down your
energy. Like taking stairs instead of elevator, walking or biking instead
driving your car. You could not only have an exercise but you could also save
your gasoline.
2. Eat
a balanced diet and avoid junk foods.
3. Be
into sport and other recreational activity. In your spare time go into sports like badminton,
table tennis, lawn tennis, volleyball, basketball, hiking etc. With these
sports you will be physically and mentally healthy.
4. Avoid
smoking and drinking too much liquor. Studies said that smoking could cause serious heart risk problems
as well as too much drinking of alcoholic beverages could also cause serious
illness . You could drink liquor but it should not be too much. Instead, for
smokers who could not quit, (and wanted to quit smoking) they could use
electric cigarettes which is a very good substitute of people who smoke. For
those who drink too much, they could lessen the amount of liquor in day to day
basis until they could somehow stop. Having avoided these vices would result to
a healthy heart and could take you away from complications in and out of our
body.
5. Avoid
stress and over fatigue. Many
people would surely love to know how. The tip is so simple. Just think POSITIVE.
Studies show that people who are always stressed and fatigued are those at high
risk of having cancer. So, think of your problems seriously but don’t overuse
your strength. Find ways to unwind, to have some fun and always smile. Too much
anxiety, pressure and worry would affect your emotions and would likely help
your system release negative energy that would only drain your strength. So
stand up, look around, and think of your happy moments and the people who are
your inspirations.
