Dry Hair: Quick Guide For A Beautiful Hair

DRY HAIR

Hair that is brittle and may also have split ends may consider that you have a dry hair. This might cause harsh shampoos that remove oil from your scalp and hair, lack proper nutrition, so you need natural oils.

Here are some suggestions:

1. Care with shampoo using only mild shampoos.

2. Avoid washing your hair every night. When washing your hair, use warm not hot water. When rinsing, always use cool water. This increases circulation.

3. Include enough unsaturated fatty acids in your diet (unheated vegetable oils, such aswheat germ, flaxseed, sesame, corn, or soy oil).

4. Do not use heat to arrange your hair. Both curling irons and electric curlers produce heat that is too intense. Instead, women should use plastic cylinder rollers.

5. Dry hair tends to produce frayed ends. Snip them off about every 6 weeks or so.

6. Avoid whipping winds because they also tend to fray your hair. Use bathing cap for swimming or rub a little olive oil for putting on the swimming cap.

7. Pour sesame seed oil on your hair and massage.

8. Massage avocado into your hair because it provides both protein and oil to the hair shaft. In a bowl, mix 1 peeled avocado, 1 tsp. each of jojoba and wheat germ oil. After shampooing, rinsing and drying your hair, apply the mixture and massaging it in. Cover your hair with a hair cap, leave it on for 15-30 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly. Repeat once a week.
